This painting is one of many works of art that have been handled by Gander & White while transporting works of art for high profile exhibitions around the country.
It was shown at the Royal Academy, London, in the exhibition entitled
‘Making History: Antiquaries in Britain, 1707–2007’.
In its history Gander & White has handled the Leverhulme Collection,
the Kremlin Silver on its visit to London, and the Ashes, as well as contributing to numerous exhibitions around the country.
Its clients have included King Faisal of Iraq and the Royal Collection.
