Description / ExpertiseThis fine miniature is most probably of Senior Ensign Charles Grove 18th. (Royal Irish) Regiment of Foot, circa 1793. In 1795 he was a Lieutenant in the 66th (Berkshire) Regiment of Foot. The miniature is set in a period locket frame with hair panel reverse bearing initials in seed pearl, 'C.G.' |
